Our compact systems meet a wide range of requirements. For all other cases, we offer individual airwall systems in modular design: They can be adapted to almost any construction situation – for virtually unlimited applications. The heart of every individual airwall system is the original, individually calculated pressure module. Its nozzle has been specially designed by LWT Luftwandtechnik and is patented for various processes and designs. Depending on the task and construction conditions, these pressure modules can be variably attached: standing at the side of the opening or above the opening. They are each positioned exactly so that they can perfectly divide the air masses. The pressure nozzles and the entire remaining air wall system can be accommodated separately as required – even on different floors. The modular system makes it possible. Dynamic process of the air wall to maintain the ecological Building
Exemplary starting situation:
Company X wants to build a production hall that is as energy-efficient as possible and, according to the Energy Saving Ordinance, has taken all target measures to achieve the goal. The hall will be built according to an ecological and energetic principle. The hall is designed to produce and work eight hours a day, with an average of half the time being spent opening a hall gate for loading and unloading, delivery of trucks or passing through staff. Now, company X faces the challenge of being able to store valuable heat and energy in the hall in order to recycle it efficiently.
Problem:
Halls and houses can still be so well insulated, heat loss is only a matter of time. Especially with the doors, windows or gates open, expensive and expensive heated air escapes within seconds. Even air curtains or plastic curtains are no effective protection.
Our solution:
The LWT air wall technology works in the sense of heat recovery. Process heat, created by machine activities, for example in production halls, leads to thermal air layers under the hall ceiling. This waste heat below the hall ceiling is used to increase the effectiveness of the air wall. Those exhaust air that would otherwise be lost safely can thus be used to convert waste heat into energy. This is done by extracting the hot air stratification by means of a guided from the fan to the ceiling pipe system. From the fan, this extracted warm air is then fed to the pressure modules. By blowing out the sucked air of the printing modules, the air wall is then built up. This gives a dynamic screening process at the open gate. The building heat loss is converted to compensate for positive transmission heat (loss at the open gate). In the best case can be dispensed with an additional heating even an additional heating, thus further saving costs and energy. The flexible design of the system makes it possible to install pressure modules and fans up to 10 m separated from each other.
Result:
The door can be locked so well – when it is opened, valuable energy and heat disappear. Here, the airwall system is the only effective protection. It can also be used as an effective completion in ecological new constructions as well as retrofitting into existing real estate.
