UVV inspection is necessary!
The annual re-testing of work equipment according to BetrSichV §10 is prescribed by the professional association. The accident prevention regulations of the employers’ liability insurance associations regulate the safe handling of technical work and operating resources in a company. Since the UVV is a regulation, it has legal character and is thus legally binding. This means that accident prevention regulations must be regarded as binding obligations. According to UVV BGV D6 and D8 (§44 or §36) one violates non-compliance with the provisions of the seventh Social Code SGB VII, §15. In this case fines acc. § 209 SGB VII be imposed up to 10,000 euros.
